More accurate measurements for better fitted helmets & masks
LD-3D Customization Solution is an automated 3D measurement system designed by LD Switzerland to improve sizing and fitting of pilots’ helmets and oxygen masks. We use the latest available technologies to offer a fully personalized, fast, and easy process to continuously enhance safety.
AI classification system
Our automated classification system is powered by a powerful AI capable of selecting the most adequate and best adapted sizes of masks and helmets for your pilots. It does so by using integrated subjective variables such as weight, comfort and noise reduction during the scanning process of each subject’s heads. The information saved into our pilot sheet allows us to offer personalized customer service for each pilot.
Scalable clustering
We use our automated 3D measurement system to create a mapping representing estimated sizes of helmet and masks based on several significant parameters. This mapping helps us define our pilots size distribution range.
Automated fitting
Our system’s calculation generates the best fitted match of helmet size specific to each pilot. In some cases several size matches are possible. This will happen more frequently as new sizes are added-in to our product inventory if they are at a high level of matching.
Personal comfort
Our top priority is the pilot’s personal comfort. We provide the two best matching sizes recommended by our system to try on and decide on the best fit.
Oxygen mask size optimization
Today we offer 5 mask sizes, and we are working on adding 4 more to our product selection. LD-3D Customization Solution enables us to create new sizes to adapt to specific markets with different morphotypes.
Headset size optimization
Because we do research & development for our helmets andmasks, we have a much better interfacing between both products.Global comfort is therefore improved.
